Overview
The Certified Developed by the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), the CMRP course will enable participants to develop a strategy for outstanding maintenance and reliability performance, tools to improve reliability at equipment level, and an insight to the latest practices in planning, scheduling and control.
The Certified Maintenance and Reliability Practitioner standard is the leading accreditation for modern maintenance and reliability professionals. This is a top tier qualification which was established to set a consistent, recognized standard in the industry. It is the only certification of its kind accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and follows the global standards of the Organization for Standards (ISO) for its accreditation process. Participants who pass the exam will be able to use the designation “CMRP”.
Right after the training participants can take up the online examination with the SMRP a which will broadly examine your scope of expertise measured against the universal standard. It assess your aptitude within the five pillars of the SMRP Body of Knowledge (BoK), which include:

- Organization & Leadership
- Work Management.
- Understand the plant asset management objectives and develop proactive maintenance management strategy.
- Develop effective maintenance planning systems to reduce costs, downtime and backlogs.

- Demonstrate bottom -line benefits of maintenance planning and scheduling as a core business process.
- Analyze work requests using a risk-based approach ensuring work order efficiency.
- Achieve streamlined maintenance framework by developing a fool-proof scheduling program.
- Improve turnaround performance by applying proven best practices.
- Effectively decrease downtime by optimizing coordination and streamlining the Maintenance Planning, scheduling and control process.
- Deploy best practices in performance management to control the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling process.
- This is a broad spectrum course in the asset management and maintenance space and would be beneficial to VP’s HoD’s, Managers, Supervisors as well as front line staff and Engineers from the following Departments:
